Our Story

The owner chef, Anne, is a Korean Kiwi who has been making a variety of Korean food for more than 30 years.  She is not only an accredited chef for Korean traditional food as well as Korean Royal Palace food, but also is a very experienced chef for Korean contemporary, casual, and street foods.


Although Anne lived in New Zealand since 1992 she spent most of her life in Korea where she learnt, educated, and practiced her cooking.  She used to own and run a contemporary Korean restaurant in Samsung Electronics R&D Complex in Seoul, Korea.  She re-immigrated to New Zealand in 2017 and moved down to Christchurch recently to live together with her daughter.


As Korean foods and Korean Fried Chickens are becoming popular boosted by K-Pop, K-Drama/Movies, Anne decided to open a small Korean Fried Chicken takeaway shop at The Crossing, Central Christchurch, in order to introduce and share her home-style Korean Fried Chickens to as many Kiwis as possible which is unparalleled in taste but affordable in prices in a most healthiest possible way.
